Superintendent's Bridge

Superintendent's Bridge is a footbridge over the Merced River with beautiful sites on both sides and great views and photo-ops of Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, meadows and Chapel. This is one of our most popular elopement and small wedding sites, located in the heart of Yosemite Valley, between Yosemite Falls and the Yosemite Valley Chapel and it's easy to access along a paved path. Our local photographers love this area!
Glacier Point
Elevation: 7,214 Feet
This seasonal location usually opens after June 1st, (depending on winter snows and road plowing.) Generally available for elopements (less than 11 people) during June through October and sometimes early November. The first winter storm will close this road through May. Our elopement location is in a secluded area near the amphitheater with awesome views of Half Dome, Nevada Falls and the Yosemite high country.
A good alternative to Glacier Point is Washburn Point. This is an area just before Glacier Point. Limited parking, no facilities, but the same views with few people around. Available June through October for elopements.
Taft Point
Another Seasonal Location
Open when the Glacier Point Road is open. There is parking along the road, then a 40 minute walk out to Taft Point. There are no facilities here, just awesome views of Yosemite Valley, Yosemite Falls and El Capitan! Morning ceremonies from 8 am to 10 am are recommended to avoid parking and crowd issues.
Remember, you can have your ceremony anywhere in Yosemite, then have your photographer take you to Taft Point for more photos.
